In order to better serve the community affected by the devastating social problem of domestic violence, The Haven provides a comprehensive toll free 24- Hour Domestic Violence Hotline.
 The Domestic Violence Hotline 1-727-442-4128 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides referrals to a variety of services such as: Domestic Violence Shelter Bed Availability, Counseling Services, Support Group Services, Emergency Food and Clothing, Legal Services, Stalking Information, and other available community resources.
The purpose of this Hotline is to provide police officers, social service providers, other helping professionals, and domestic violence victims with efficient, comprehensive referrals to services available throughout Pinellas County and beyond. This Hotline alleviates the frustrating and often tedious search for services.
The Hotline services have the ability to link the caller with an agency/agencies that are best suited to his or her needs as well as other services that may be needed by the caller. Through a preliminary screening, the Hotline staff can assess the caller's needs then transfer the caller to the appropriate agency or immediately begin the process of an intake for our 30-day emergency shelter. The referrals and information are not limited to the shelters in our local area. The database of information used by the Hotline Staff contains an abundant amount of information about agencies and services and is updated regularly. Referrals and information about agencies throughout Pinellas County are given to callers.
The Hotline is answered by a combination of regular Haven staff and volunteers who are trained and given the skills needed to best help our clients.
